 3 exposures tonemapped in photomatix, then processed in cs3.
Still not totally happy with how this one turned out but after multiple attempts trying to be here at the right time, which included waking up at 4am one morning, and the long walk to this vantage point, I'll have to go with this one.

a bit disappointed where it ended since i thought it would end a bit higher, but i'm sure we all think that about our entries right? :)
post challenge, i do see now that although the exposure was long, it didn't really have that much impact, overall the shot is static. and the title could've been better too.

Title seems at odds with the photo--waves breaking on a rocky coast, brooding clouds, and a dark color palette do not indicate serenity. (6)
