Took a 20min exposure of the stars and overlayed a photo of the painter. Lots of levels, dodging and burning.

I like the idea..you must have stood still there like this for a while :D Brighter clothing like a whiter overall would have created a better effect though I believe and turning the pallet of colors ( I believe ) more to the viewer to "get the picture" better....

Cool idea! nice execution, too. Perhaps the biggest detracting element of this photo is the bright, flatly lit metal ladder, which, as it's presented here, adds nothing for me.

Very original idea! My only real gripe is that I would've liked to see the ladder turned more towards the camera to show at least some of the "artist's" face. And maybe a different wardrobe choice...but that's just being nitpicky. :-)
