 My intent was that when grief becomes unbearable, one feels like pushing the walls of comfort out to make more breathing room. But obviously I failed to convey that physically:-)

I didn't vote in this challenge. I would have scored it fairly hight because I love shots like this. I feel the grief in the whole image. The only distraction is the funky light cast on the wall on the right.

Very expressive in my opinion. Well done.

Hi Prash. I gave this a 6. The folded-up sitting figure is interesting, the standing figure conveyed action of some kind but what? I still don't much like the bit of ceiling at the top, or the baseboard/carpet, it places this in a specific location & if you're going to do that you may as well include furniture & clothes. I couldn't make up my mind about the window light pattern on the wall, but in the end I decided I liked it & that's why I gave it a 6.

Look at how evenly divided that voting breakdown is, and especially the high commenters average! This is one of those shots where the average does not tell the whole story. A real "love it or hate it" entry. I was one of the lovers, it got an 8 from me. Very creative and very under-appreciated.
