This is a good concept. I think it has a real snapshot "feel" to it though. Maybe it would be better if it just caught the action and the model wasn't posing and waving at the camera. Also it looks like maybe you could edit some more and bring more colors out. Like with levels and or curves.

Looks washed out from the sunlight. Not any color depth. Maybe a UV filter might help. Good luck.
