 adjusted levels, played with gaussian blur/usm to get right look.

I was inspired for this shot while setting up for a 4th july cook-out. I shot many different items that were set out, I chose this one because I thought the colors worked well together. I like the blue label against the reds, whites and yellows. I liked the texture in the table cloth reds. I experimented with different set ups showing more items, but felt that showing multiple products took away emphasis (obviously). I set up the chip bags, and lemonade along with the table cloth all leading to the upper right, and the pickle bottle against that going to left, i felt this makes it stand out more.

Excellent picnic theme - and perfect for the pickles. Your use of the red-checkered tablecloth is a great touch. The potato chip bags are pretty distracting.

The top of the jar seems slightly blurry, but I like this shot regardless.

if this is an ad for the vlasic jar, the main focus of the picture should be the jar. The other bags that are cut off, along with the table cloth, make it hard to concentrate on the pickles
