 Taken in Charlotte, NC on July 4th at the annual Skyshow 2004, Charlotte North Carolina's Official Independence Day Celebration. This shot was taken about 20 minutes prior to the fireworks show. Post shot adjustments include, cropping, level adjustments, and unsharp mask. All comments & critiques welcomed...

Well this photo makes me sick! LOL I also went to this and took some fireworks shots, but nothing near as beautiful as this! I love it.. 10

Nice night shot of Charlotte. Was the foreground included just to meet the challenge? Would have looked a lot better cropped just below the "skyline" buildings.

nice photo.....I lived in Charlotte for 20 years.....Charlotte has really grown and changed....you captured the excitement of the place really nice....I like the lighting of the people down below, and the buildings up top.

I know its hard with longer shutter speeds, but the buildings look a bit out of focus.

Seems more like a cityscape shot than an ad for the event. Beautiful night shot though.

There is a lot going on in this photo. I assume you are advertising the event on the bottom of the photo? There is great detail, and while the photo might draw someone to come to the city based upon the backdrop, the event itself seems like the secondary subject of this photo. I would give this a 7.
