 Wish I could have entered this in the Bovine challenge, but this was taken two days prior to the announcement of the challenge. I went back to Hodge Park for another attempt, but as always... take two never works out exactly the same. I really liked the harsh shadow of his horns. So when I went back for take two, it was overcast and he was not positioned well. So, I'm entering this shot in the Free Study, where it will likely flop.

Shadow of his(her?) horn is amazing. If I could offer one tip, I think this would be a stronger image if you had completely blacked out the grass behind the face.

Honestly I'm not a fan of pointillism, but kudos to showing a style we don't see much.
