 I unintentionally panned this shot, waiting for the right moment when she'd enter my focal length and my manual focus would be sharpest. I think the subtle motion blur helps imply speed. If only I had a ND filter, I could've captured a longer exposure.

Originally, this photo was poorly lit and washed out. After a levels adjustment and some burning to further bring out the contrast, it was brought up to par.

I believe if you stick to these "water/action" shots, you will definitely pull out a true money shot. I like the brightness and the clarity here. With the right crop, you've got a great poster for a surf shop.
