I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: I really like that you've entered an image of this type and I appreciate the vision behind the image. For me, the highlight of the image is the movement in the hands - that works really well.
Critical stuff: I think this is a 'nearly' image but I think it might have been more effective edited in a different way - my choices would have been higher contrast with a bit of grain and a vignette (and no nasty border). Having said that, perhaps you wanted to avoid that sort of look.
Overall: A very nice entry, but one that feels a bit sub-optinised to me. |

coolness - love the choice of centered crop to really have the figure overwhelm the image |
