Challenge: Freedom II (Advanced Editing II)
Camera: Canon EOS-10D
Location: Pourdre Canyon, Colorado
Date: Jul 7, 2004
Aperture: 5.6
ISO: 100
Shutter: 5 minutes
Galleries: Sky, Landscape
Date Uploaded: Jul 7, 2004

I used the TC-80N3 remote switch for the long exposure. A slowly rising moon caused the sky to brighten a bit toward the right hand side of the horizon. Amazingly I was able to stand in the middle of the highway without any cars interfering. The road was brightenend up a little with a flashlight.

Nice. I like clean and simple images like this. Very beautiful composition. Curious how long your exposure had to be to get star-streaks like that!

Well done - must be an isolated area to have a several minute exosure on a road! This would make a nice poster. Excellent!

Judging from the star trails, the shutter was open for a minute or more. How do you keep the noise level down? 7
