I used a couple of overlays on this image. One was the second daisy and one was a dandylion that had fluffed already. They made for nice textures.

I got the different coloured background by doing three colour adjustment layers on top of everything else and painting on the layer masks to reveal the colours underneath. A useful trick I picked up at psdtuts+.

Lots of filters used on this one too. I think photoshop filters can be hokey if overused but in the right amount they can add interest and artistry.

You can save this wallpaper by clicking on view full sized image and then right click save. My only stipulations is that you don't take my mark off and you don't try to sell it. I'd like it to stay free.

Enjoy.

Very nice and tranquil - although I might prefer both flowers to be rendered with the same filter maybe

It's a wonderful warm wall paper...

My one two complaints are that it's much too small, it won't come close to filling my monitor, and the text is too harsh. I love text that blends and works, much like the sheet music does, you signature pulls me out of the image a little too much.

Otherwise though, a very, very nicely executed image.
