Although fireworks may seem like a mans mastery of fire, the actual act of setting up and letting off is quite chaotic. This is a Canada Day display that I annually perform for my family in our homestead backyard. Organized perhaps, until one shakes loose and you now have molten metal flying at your head, or you get too close to a fuse and end up with a blister. The wheel barrow has no significance photography wise. It houses sand and more fireworks that cannot be safely let off where the larger sky displays are setup. Since this was my first attempt at a DPChallenge, my goal was to simply guage my first photograph. Thanks to NiallOTauma for the helpfull comment, and cutout for the PM inspiration, I really appreciate it. |

I don't understand the purpose of the wheelbarrow in this shot. |

My eyes are attracted to the wheelbarrow far more than to the fireworks. Maybe cause it's on a... 'powerpoint' location in the rule of thirds technique?
They will cause chaos and are laid out disorderly. There's not denying that. |

Planted by a person in the ground is chaotic? I must be missing something.
I've always found fireworks to be a demonstration of man's mastery over fire rather than a chaotic free for all, but that's probably just me. |
