Rarely do I feel compelled to comment, even on blue ribbon photos, but this is just fantastic - great subject matter, beautifully composed and exposed. Kudos, kudos, kudos. |

Carries the weathered look perfectly for this challenge. May have cropped a little more of the free space on the left side to centre the shot but still a ribbon contender IMO. |

Not voting yet just browsing through the thumbnails, this one stood out. I have to say where were you in the street portraiture challenge!!? this would have been top 3 no doubt. I love your take on the challenge. |

I can see the title on your image. Nice shot in B&W.
I would have preserved some more details on his mustache area, because the overall contrast in the image is slightly overwhelming for my taste. |

Beautiful portrait with excellent textures and tones, perfect DOF (all facial features and headdress in focus), good BG/subject separation, so technically excellent. With all of the hackneyed Topaz processing I've seen so far in this challenge, here it's done very well and to good effect. The most salient aspects to this portrait for me are his eyes and the way the creases in his turbine mirror the wrinkles of his skin. Excellent job! |
