 I got to the beach early, having important things to do later. I probably wouldn't have gone if I'd have know the tide was mostly in, but thankfully it had turned, so some of the groynes weren't underwater.

Processed first in UFRaw 0.17
auto rotate

Then to Gimp 2.6.7
manual white balance using channel mixer -5% red, +10% blue
crop
re-size
sharpen

Wonderful remnants. The smaller stump is fascinating. Makes me wonder what kind of wood that is.
