 This is the first time I tried blending multiple exposures using screen and multiply. It worked OK, but I had to do a lot of extra work to get all the exposures right, mostly on the sky and in roof. It took a lot of extra work since I don't have a good version of Photo Shop. I used PSE6 to import three shots from raw and then had to switch over to GIMP because PSE6 does not provide good control over the color curves. Back to PSE6 to crop and finally back to GIMP to scale down to 800 pixels.

I noticed problems with the sky after I submitted, but there is no time to make corrections. Blending at the top of the silo is not done so good and the sharpening I did to make the wood stand out messed up the clouds. I should have limited the area being sharpened. We will see if anyone else notices.

Other than the clouds having some processing artifacts, this is a great image.

I like the mood of this photo quite a bit. The use of foreground and background objects gives a nice sense of depth.

I love this shot, your composition is spot on, it draws me right into the old farm! My only critique, (and it might be just my monitor??) but your clouds look a little (over sharpened? over grained? ) Just a tish too much in the clouds for the smoothness of your photo... All that being said I still LOVE this photo!
