 I knew I was going to some of the most impressive mountains in Europe and probably the world! Weathered - what a challenge!! The Eiger weathered by thousands of years of rain, snow, ice and wind!! I was not totally happy with my foreground building subject and the clouds would not do as I told them! I also had to leave at 6.30pm, well before the sunset, because it is the last train out of Kleine Sheidegg! Damn.... But stay tuned for future Open Challenges because I am going back (I have to),to better capture the magic of this area and the light that only a sunset and sunrise can offer. Hopefully I can deliver the Alpenglow on the Eiger! Stay tuned....

looks like Murren or Gimmelwald, one of our favorite places in the world and an excellent entry though the crop of the rock pile is awkward

Good use of foreground to bring out the size of the mountains. Good colors here too.

Image looks a bit soft and a touch low contrast... Wonderful location and superbly interesting subject.

6, but it could have been an 8 with a little different processing..
