 Taken at the local cemetery, a close up of one of the iron worked gate posts that stands between the living and the dead. I chose to focus on what lay slightly outside the cemetery looking away from death and towards light and the life of hedgerow and trees in the further background.

i like the repeating and intersecting rectangles but I can't get past the unusual choice of focus

Good texture on the bars, perhaps a deeper DOF would have brought out all the details.
