This is clever. I love the different take on this common subject. |

Well, that's a nice change of pace from using a ring! |

Is there a sheet of glass involved here? Great effect - good luck |

Interesting take on an old dpc classic photo... I like the way you havfe the apple appearing to be floating over thebook. It adds great interest that way. A few distractin elements of the image are the smudge on the glass at upper left, the black triangle at upper right, and the book facing away from the viewer. Other than that, great use of light and shadow. I think the shadow lines going through the book help it out, especially because they are not parallel to the book. One thing I would suggest for improvement would be to use a slower shutter speed to get a darker image, but that only speaks to personal taste. There is nothing wrong with the current exposure. |

Brilliant take... if it had entered a challenge called "Apple" this would have been in top 5...very clever shot... |

Would have been better to have the book be the bible (open to Genesis) and turned so it isn't upside down to the reader. The shadow on the left and right are distracting. Overall I think this is a wonderful idea. I've seen a ring make the heart but never an apple. (not voting). |

This is a wonderful take on the common "circle into a heart on a book" image!
I'd have used a glass without a border to remove the shadows from the border... and turned the book upright focusing on a relevant term. But still... VERY creative and a good job! (not voting) |
