 The pelican had a plain blue sky behind him. The rainbow hues are from very very cropped section of a very very close up oof bokeh shot of beads.

I admire the mix of magical & mundane. The bird chose a perch that was...beneath him. The rainbow sky adds a touch of whimsy that makes a poem out of what is probably a public nuisance in that town (imagine if you had a car parked under that streetlight?). And pelicans look so prehistoric anyway. All in all this is just remarkable. Makes me wish we had a side challenge this year like the blended images side challenge we had going last year.
