This is the original:

I tried my best to do it justice.

I am expecting a 4 - 5 score range.

The comments I expect are:

Right side a bit blown out
Image a bit boring
I didnt do the material background as in original
Image has noise.

We will see :) I had fun using my new light box. To bad my husband tripped and busted the brand new light bulbs LOL.

This was done with natural light from the window. I used one of the lights to eliminate the shadow.

Nice job Carrie! :) I know that technically, there is a bit of a blow-out on the right side wing BUT... the idea of this original challenge was "Light On White" and the harsher lighting FITS with the idea behind this shot..."Child of The Light" LOL :) It works well, Carrie. I think there are going to be people who will look mostly at the technicals and not the entire shot as a whole and others who will do all. To be honest...the subject was not a great one when I did it back in 2006! LOL I'm very honored and congrats. You did an excellent job on what DPCers frown upon usually....a shot of a statue LOL ;)

Interesting choice of lighting, the brightness on the right makes the statue feel like it is fading away
