 Once I saw the 'target' image from the big master list provided by androgeus



I was drawn to the leading lines and I knew I wanted to combine it with the vision I had for one of my favourite images from my own portfolio:



[My own first entry - a very dull puzzle macro left little room for manoeuvre, so I wasn't even going to go there.]

Hopefully this take is faithful enough to the 'original' not be considered DNMC whilst allowing me to maintain some artistic ownership.

We'll see....

This one was one of my only two 10's in this challenge. I would have loved to see it with a ribbon, but I'm glad it won an honorable mention! Congratulations. It is an outstanding portrait. So fresh and beautiful. Who IS she????

This is my favorite one in this challenge. I love the high key look, and I don't know if this is a self-portrait like the original, but it is a beautiful face and smile -- totally at ease with the camera. 10
