 This is a re-conceptualization of my own first entry. Extraneous elements are eliminated, the tools are made monumental.

Hand-held against late afternoon sky, shot with 100mm macro at arm's length in one hand with the other hand holding the camera. I love IS :-)

Processing is very simple. A little cloning lower right, a little topaz detail on the tools themselves, a little hue/sat.

I was disappointed when I saw this shot as someone had re-done this better than my attempt. I was hoping it was you & so I'm happy to be beaten by the original & more skillful photographer. Great shot Bear.

Quite a tool/metal study. You have me thinking about the provenance of tools, but then I am something of an artefactress wannabe.

This IS a popular subject:) And I like ALL the versions better than the bland original, except that for a mechanical challenge it was perfectly suited!! Wonderful sharpness here, terrific perspective and compostion.
