 Beats Antique at Camp Bisco 9. I think I just had the best weekend of my life. We saw about 30 bands and DJs and these guys were one of them. If you haven't heard Beats Antique I strongly suggest checking them out.
I cropped this out of a bigger image. I don't think it will get anything over a 5, but it was the only mythical creatures I got on camera this past weekend. Although there were so many freaks at this festival, I'm sure I could have shot something more interesting. For example a wookie - there were a lot of those there.

This is way, way underrated. Bizarre almost to the point of disturbing. But funny just the same. Excellent. Got a 7 from me and it should have been higher.

This one fooled me at first - I have just moved it from a 3 to an 8 - it has an art house feel to it that I really like

Great capture. My friend has one of those horse heads and wears it around town to get looks and laughs. They are so realistic looking

This is bizarre if only because a centaur is a human torso on a horse's body. In classical mythology, the closest to what you have here would be the minotaur, a bull's head on a human body. In the Hindu pantheon, Hayagriva, an avatar of vishnu, is the God of wisdom and knowledge, and has a horse's head on a human body.

But what am I to make of this? I'm assuming you wanted me to wonder, that this is allegorical...
