 This was alive, I have about 15 other pictures of him and his buddy, every one of which has him with his peak clamped onto this dead weed. If I was going to go to the trouble to "position" him, it wouldn't of been on the ugliest dead weed within two miles. Had already put away my tripod and flash diffuser when they showed up, which is reflected in the quality of the picture. Doesn't it always work that way?

Was it alive when you took this? The over saturation of the green background works well for me.

Haha! I love the positioning. If your photo had just slightly less noise, I bet it would be doing better.
