Tomatoes are hard to photograph with a shallow depth of field because their skin's texture is such that it always looks out of focus even if it's not. A little more sharpening during post-processing would have brought out the parts of this that are definitely in focus, which would have helped the score (I'm guessing you're getting a lot of "Out of focus!" comments). |

maybe a little too soft of a focus for me..but i really like the color (even if i don't like tomatoes) good shot |

Always good to see nice red ripe tomatoes. Maybe a touch more focus would make these even more appealing. 6 |

I like the setup here, and the soft lighting used. Good close crop to bring out some of the details, while pretty much filling the scene with tomatoes. |
