This almost made it, but the sun flares (both above and below the slices) were too distracting. |

Since you included such a prominent star burst/flare, I wish the white balance was warmer to help communicate the feeling of summer. |

Not sure the sunburst effect is helping that good looking watermelon. |

I love the concept and the sun glare. Wish less of the green trees in the background were showing. You could have exposed for the watermelon and let the background get blown out to be lighter and also decreased your depth of field to really focus on the fruit. |

Classic summer scene with the sun falling in the sky. To me, there is almost a bit too much light rays, as it's covering your main subjects quite a bit. |
