 waiting for the fireworks that never came, on a dock at Lake Tahoe. The fireworks did go off, but they never got above the ridge jutting into the lake, leaving the 200 or so folks on this dock and beach without much of a show ...

Longish exposure, not much editing. Just a little noise ninja and a resize.

I like the idea behind this photo, but I don't like the ghosting effect. If you could have had the people sit still for the length of the exposure, I think it could have been really cool.
