 This is the second to last game of my son's final year in Little League baseball. I took this after the first round of the playoffs. These guys came in that night with a losing record in the regular season after having lost too many close games. Team morale was quite low before this game.

During the last week of the regular season, they ended up being beaten TWICE by the team that they had to face in the first round of playoffs. I was nervous for them because I wasn't sure if they had it in their hearts to play this team again. Also, kids on the other team were taunting our kids before the game, telling them that they were going to lose again.

Well this night, some other team showed up to play, lol. I'm not sure what happened but our kids started hitting the ball and scoring runs! It was awesome. I think the other team got a little over-confident before this game and that definitely worked to our advantage. I don't remember the final score, but I think that we won by 10 runs. Who would have thought that it was possible for a team with a losing record to come back and beat a team that they couldn't beat at all? That's the beauty of baseball.

This photo for me captures that pure moment of unscripted joy. A big burden was lifted off their shoulders and right here, at this point in time, they remembered that there really is something fun about playing this game. I don't think I can find the right words to describe how happy they were that night, but I think these facial expressions say it all :)

Nice expressions and a cool silky smooth look.
I wish a smaller DOF was used so that the background wasn't so distracting.

I'm not really sure about the processing. Its almost too much and is on the verge of looking cartoony.
