 On the way back from taking shots for the Industriall II and Shallow DOF V challenges, I stopped along the interstate to take a shot of these cat tails. My original intent was to use this shot if my Shallow DOF V entry didn't work. But when I got back, I was fairly pleased with my Shallow DOF V entry and couldn't do much with this one. And my Shallow DOF V entry is hitting close to a 6.3, so I'm happy with it. And after playing around with this shot a little, I started to like the thought of entering it in the Free Study. I don't normally do well in the Free Study's, but I'm thinking this kind of shot might be more on target. Who knows, but I like the shot anyway.

i'm sorry, i do not like this shot... there is nothing that attract my look, the upper white part of the scene distrct too much... i do not know your skill on photography, but i think that there are many things that you have to know about composition and subject choice... I do not wanna be a teacher, but I think that an appreciation wrong is worse than a hard comment. 4
