 took this yesterday afternoon .. the light from the sun was coming in and shining on ann-marie as she was reading .. i loved the look so i went and grabbed my camera and katee .. katee isnt usually allowed on the lounge except if i see a photo opportunity .. !!

i had a few of my pics framed for a couple of exhibitions .. nothing sold, but that's one of them behind ann-marie ..
we hung them up on the weekend .. before that the walls were bare .. i've been living here for 15 years ... !! ..

it would be great if ppl hung insects on their walls like they do animals and scenery ..
insects - how could ppl not see the beauty . !!!!!

i put the texture on this after the first three comments .. :)
this is without the overlay ..

I like the texture here, as well as the solitude and peacefulness of the moment. The low light really brings that feel.

I love this shot. It's the lighting that makes it ... not that anne-marie and the pooch aren't lovely, and your insect photo (grin) but I want that lamp .. it adds a certain something that makes the scene inviting and homey

You have SO captured a mood here, Roz. It is cozy, in that late-afternoon-rain sort of way. The lighting is just delicious. I even hear the teapot whistling from the kitchen.

And Totally, bugs are beautiful - ESPECIALLY YOURS!!!!!!!
