I was lucky enough, to find this heron. Unfortunately the light was quite low. So I used a tripod with mirror lock and a shutter release. He stayed very still for me, so sharpness was not a problem. Very cool, how he lined up with the concrete. . No, I did not ask him to do this. lol I always find it interesting, how luck can play in a shot like this. So probably my last 5D entry, as I have the 5DII. So thanks 5D, you have treated me well!

He looks very focussed on something just outside the frame. And probably under the water ;-) Like the contrast between the big, solid concrete block and the delicate curves of the heron.
