 I wanted to see what my "straight from the camera" photo would have looked like if I had the freedom of Basic editing. All I can say about the end result is "wow, I wish I didn't waste this scene on a minimal editing challenge."

My edits included (in Aperture):
* Setting white balance
* Increasing recovery a bit
* Increasing black point a lot
* Increasing contrast a bit
* Increasing definition a lot
* Increasing saturation and vibrancy a moderate amount
* Increasing highlights and shadows (more highlights)
* Adjusting levels
* Sharpening

With these edits, so many more details are visible, and the color of the water is amazing.
