 This was taken this past weekend at the Lake Champlain Dragonboat Festival. This is the only dragonboat Festival in the country that gives all proceeds to charity, its not about winning as the title suggests. I've had the distinct honor of being an officaial photog for the past 2 yrs. I was also fortunate enough to to borrow a 300mm 2.8 with a 1.4 tele converter. Fantastic lens.

Ah, another VT shot! I was up in Lake Groton, east of Barre. Burlington's about 90 minutes away. I loved the guy's hat! And I was impressed with the frozen action of the water and the composition with a fast-moving subject in a no-crop challenge.
