 To post a thumbnail from Flickr on DPC that links back to the image page on Flickr, do the following:

-Click the "share this" button
-Select the thumbnail size
-Click the BBCode radio button
-Copy the code from the text box and paste it into the discussion thread on DPC.

This is a new feature that was added to the new style Flickr layout in August 2010. Under the previous interface I was using a Greasemonkey script called "Allsizes+" to obtain BBCode. That quit working under the new layout. Though it is not needed to get the BBCode anymore, the author has rewritten the script to add some functionality to the new layout. If interested, it can be found here, in the Flickr hacks group,along with information on how to install and what it does.

Thanks so much for this! It took me forever to figure out how to do this (attach Flickr thumbnail) but it's been so long since I've needed it that I forgot. I was searching through the forums again looking for that one post that helped me and I saw this.

It's great for those times I want to just post something quickly and don't feel like finding it on my hard drive & uploading to DPC. :o)
