 Used "sharpen" in PS, resized, and saved for web. I REALLY wanted to saturate this but due to the editing rules, I couldn't. : (

Thanks GF! I shot it with my 50mm, really close to the canvas (because of the cropping issue). I also thought the proper shoe was in focus - voters! what do they know? lol

I liked this one. I wanted to ask if it was a Lensbaby or not. I personally loved that only one part was in focus. Final score and commenting ave. are too low!

HA you are so right! I misunderstood the challenge description and thought it had to be OVER-SOMETHING, or I would have.

Interesting... when I saw the thumbnail in the posthumous thread, I had guessed that the title would be "Over the Rainbow."

This image has been awarded a MUAIMHO for this challenge thanks to the fact that it didn't get the appreciation I felt it deserved, i.e. it was one of the Most Under Appreciated (IMHO).

I really like this. It's clever, it's well composed... DOF might have been a little too narrow, but guess it had to be to blur the surface... just cause a bit of one of the bows to be a little OOF. But even with this minor imperfection, it was still the highest rated (along with the other muaimho winner) photo in this challenge. Well done.

The left shoe is mostly OOF. The shoe on the right is a bit more in focus.

Sweet. I love the color and the choice of framing/composition. I really wish both shoes would be as sharp as the one on the right.
