I have a confession to make, of sorts. I admit the photo isn't that good. We were actually out on the Harley-Davidson Road King to take photos of the surf, but there was a bad haze this day. I didn't have the Blue Challenge in mind at the time. I returned home to learn that I only had one day left for the challenge and not enough time to take more photos. I searched through the photos of the day and basically chose this one because of the blue table, blue sky, and subjects stare. I'm lucky it scored above 2 ;-)

I'll do better next time. Thanks for all of the constructive comments!

(1) COMPOSITION (CONTENT) - In my opinion, too dominated by the table, since I think you wanted the blue sky here. On the other hand, the wires, poles, and buildings on the far right detract. It would have been interesting if you had rotated to the right more, trying slightly different alignments. Having her off center slightly would probably help.
(2) BACKGROUND ΓΆ€“ See above. The right hand area should be cropped out.
(3) CAMERA WORK ,TECHNICAL ΓΆ€“ Good focus & DOF
(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING ,TECHNICAL ΓΆ€“ I think a crop along the nearer tree on the right, and above the shadow on the table would make a great difference to this. Try a more portrait look.
(5) MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO ΓΆ€“ I think I get the feeling you were after here ΓΆ€“ but a different cropping might have helped immensely, turning something above a snapshot into more of a photograph.

What does she drive. I love motorcycle riding. The greatest feeling of free next to horse backing riding. Beautiful shot. Beautiful composition, but I would have cropped of some of the table. You have depth in the rest of the photo so it doesn't add that much. You could have gotten more of the beauty of the surroundings and been closer to her. Still real good shot. PTL 8

I like this shot, but in my opinion the balance is a bit off. I would have prefered it if there had been either more sky or more table, it feels divided in half.

Maybe less foreground and more tops of trees and sky? He looks almost centered to me. And the background is too distracting.

Good shot but I think it would be better if the camera shadow wasnt there and if it was a little bit brighter. byetko.
