I think just a tad more DOF would have helped this. I think you exposed it well given the hot spot on the pliers/grips. Not too hot and the gradiation from light to shadow on the strawberry is nice.

This would have been a cool image if you could have done a selective de-saturation, but unfortunately a basic challenge. Nice Idea.

DOF is a bit shallow, it looked interesting, but on closer inspection a little confusing.

If the point is to be abstract, then I like the photo- but the words are to explicit to be abstract compared w/ the rest of the photo. So i can't tell what anything really is except for the word chrome- i guess that's good b/c of the challenge, but in this photo particularly, it's distracting. I don't know how i feel

I would have liked to see more of the strawberry in the frame. Also, focus could be sharper. Why did you make this b&w?

why black and white? The strawberry has such a dead color this way.
