I indeed had some trouble with the flame's shape, due to the fact I wanted to blur the background.

This is so awesome! Great job of personification, and the backlighting on the "watching" flowers is fabulous. My only nit is the blurred flame, but everything else, the graceful stalk lines, the reflection, is just wonderful. Front page.

oh now this is different! I like the leading lines and the away-facing sunflower, very well done and original. the soft focus on the flame looks a little wrong 8
