"The local cats were certainly impressed"
Hah! One of my favourite photographer-comments of all time I think :-)
Also, great still live with a delicate feel.

Verry interesting and unusual. Love the light and the b/w conversion. |

Oh, but you missed on the most perfect title - "So long, and thanks for all the fish" :-) |

This one definitely grew on me. Sorry I didn't appreciate it the first time around. Very fine work indeed. |

Good to see that one of my own faves placed highly. I think this was my only 10 for this challenge. (BTW, if you get a Grog comment, I've given at least a 7.) |

I love the unique feeling of this shot. So interesting that you wrapped your items in that gauzy material. Very clever. |

oh, I like the fabric that you used...where ever did you get that...IMO you lost some of the detail (contrast) where your branch is...otherwise a great shot |

This is an interesting image, a lot to see; I am not fond of the dead space in the center. 8 ---- visiting this comment again to rephrase (first sounds a little harsh). IMO, the portion in the center needs something to bring tie it together, otherwise you may miss something in this great image. Rescored - 9 |

All about textures: background, twigs, cloth, fish, feather, leaves have textures of their own. very remarkable! |

Hey! Grog not THAT old!
Fish good when mammoth hunt is bad. Much better than Thag's tree bark casserole. Females and younglings can catch fish, too. Very safe. (Safe for females and younglings, but not for fish.) |

I love the cheesecloth texture over everything, but it also sort of mushes everything together. Nothing really stands out. Still, the lighting and bg are really great. |
