a flower i made out of a saw blade, a wire wheel, piece of rebar, tin can lids, and an old chain...surrounded by some fake flowers. cropped, resized, cloned in some missing parts of the background, sharpened a bit, darkened the background, dodged some shadows around the inner part of the saw blade and on "leaf", and then air brushed the same area to smooth it out, and added a frame
this is my first picture (for the challenges) i've taken since i just got my new/first DSLR camera on tuesday...i have lots of learning to do with it...but these challenges should be great for getting me to try new things... |

| How did you think to combine one of my favorite subjects (the rust) with flowers, which I don't give a hoot about? One of the most original entries in this challenge. Gotta give this one a high vote and a fave. |

| Such an awesome idea... the saw blade looks like a kid in school who didnt quite fit in, but tried really hard to. Great shot. |
