I agree, it is pleasing. I like the lines on the porch and the lines of the chair - at different angles. This would be a cool study in black and white too. I think there is enough variance in light to dark, to make for something interesting that way too. Good eye! |

Nice leading lines from the shadows, can't make up my mind if I want to see the rest of the furthest chair. |

Nice interplay between the bold colors and the lines in the siding, the chair's slats, the floorboards and the shadows. |

One of the nice things about photography is we get another chance to get it right sometimes. Unless you live a long way away from where this was taken, you can always go back at another time and redo it. Some pros wait for years to take a good picture of a location they like. I think this one deserves another chance for all of the reasons you mentioned. |
