A capture grabbed at the end of a long studio session. The flowers were left over from a wedding party I'd been to the night before and were destined for the compost bin until I asked to have them :-)

Quite a bit of colour work on this to match the eyelids and lips to the blooms and the velvet. 'Selective Color' is such a powerful tool for this sort of work!

Other than that a bit of cloning to tidy things up, some dodge and burn and selective blur to bring the focus to the face.

Thanks to Stacey for toughing it out with that heavy floral arrangement almost pulling her arms off.

I gave this one my highest score, cant believe it ended up all the way back here. I think that if you had given it a little more pop, and what Tom said, this probably would have done better (but that's just my taste). I really like the body and shawl though, I don't think they detract at all.

Interesting but very morbid looking.

Cool! It's nice to see all the effort that was put into this. The only thing I would perhaps change is the background... the gray doesn't seem to go with anything in the photo. Great shot though!

Incredibly bizarre. And terrific. I think the body and shawl are completely unnecessary, and actually detract from the composition.
