This bike is an "American Eagle"
To me the Eagle is the ultimate symbol of freedom. I would have called this picture "The American Eagle" but I think the title is a part of the picture. Keeping to the rules of the challenge, I didn't want to include the word America in my title, suggesting a specific country .

Just a link about the freedom riders.

-----------------------------------------------
This was shot with a fisheye lens, so the distortion is not an edit. I gave this shot more editing than I normally do with my photos, I know I am pushing the gray area with this one, so I hope what I have done will be voted within the rules. I did clone out the distracting detail in the reflection on the gas tank, I also dropped out the color selectively above the bike to hide lights and stuff showing in the store. I removed some of the reflection on the floor and desaturated it. Then I burned everything in the background to a solid black leaving a thin line around the darker areas of the bike.

Nice contrasts, beautiful bike, but that bend (from the lense?) makes it very wierd looking,

Perfect capture of the bike. I think it would score higher for this particular challenge if shown "in action".

The fisheye does no justice for this nice bike

This is too contrasty. There is very little separation between the dark bike and the dark background. It needs some middle values.

Trying out a new lens? :-) I like this shot and love the subject, but I do think it would be better without the fisheye. Still, this is a nice interpretation of the challenge.
