7 butterflies in one shot is fun :-) I planted more flowers and bushes for them this year and it's paying off bigtime; when I walk into the yard on a nice day I am greeted by dozens and dozens of butterflies. Kind of magical.
For the record: 6 Tiger Swallowtails (5 light morph, 1 dark morph), 1 Monarch.
PP - slight rotation, cropped, 2nd layer (lightened, Gaussian blur, merged in multiply mode), increased saturation on everything but green, cloned out a few leaves on the far left, dodged shadowed butterflies, colored dark Tiger bluer on black part of wings, blurred some background more, resized, sharpened, added border. |

This is a lovely shot and one of those I gave extra credit to for just being seven, not creating seven. Gorgeous depth of field and really pretty specimens! What a nice thing to come home to! |

it's amazing what you can do with some sugar water and some super glue - this makes a nice change from marbles and stuff 7 |

Nice nature study with a bonus point for getting butterflies in flight. |

nice idea, might have been better if you could have faded out some of the green the butterflies get a little lost - I'd even be tempted to do a spot of selective desaturation but I bet you had to spend half your weeks life just waiting to get 7 of the blighters in shot.
Pretty amazing that all but one are in focus. |
