7 rows of window panes. What's wrong with that? I like this one a lot! |

I liked seeing the story within the frames. I see that people go straight for the 49 but they are missing that it's also 7 rows or 7 columns. Love the interpretation. |

It's interesting. This is a devious example of dealing with "7" as a concept, but the challenge asked us to show 7 of the main subject, and even IF you call the panes of glass the "subject" you have 49 of 'em, so at a fundamental level this isn't meeting the challenge, or doing so only very obliquely.
Nevertheless, it's a fine image and I'm giving you a respectable score. |

I find this take on '7' appealing. A warehouse style window fits with the downtown scene and the crane cutting the top right adds interest and there's a nice balance to the shot. |

Very nice image and very fascinating too but 7X7 = 49 and the requirement was that the QUOTE"photograph contains exactly seven of the main subject."UNQUOTE
Not 7x7 or 7+7, no just 7.
Difficult to say what the main subject here is, is it the window frame? If it is there is 1 window frame divided into 49 individual panes not 7. Or are the buildings the main subject? or the construction cranes? or the cars? hey, there are 7 cars by the way but I guess you could hardly call them the main subject.
Sorry....rules are rules. 3 |

Nice photograph with lots of interest. However - "take a photograph which contains exactly 7 of the main subject". The main subject looks to be the view of the construction... even if the main subject were a window, there would be 49 of them. Unless the subject is 1 row of 7 windows? Either way... no clear link to the challenge at hand in my view. |
