Nice shallow DOF but I think maybe a touch off for focus on the eyes? The lighting is great but I would have preferred just a touch more light in the left eye (camera right) but still keeping the nose shadow connected to the cheekbone shadow |

I like what you are trying, perhaps too much contrast detracts from the balance. keep up the good work |

Such a piercing gaze. She asks the viewer to feel nothing. She reveals nothing. The missed focus -- or softness of focus -- perfectly suit the mood, the emotion (or lack of emotion). This is stunning. |

Not sure that I find this image all that appealing. The focus and lighting are well done. Her eyes do draw you in and make you want to see more, however the bottom half of the image is the brightest part (draws the eye) and unfortunately the least interesting part. The static straight on pose does not really add any pizazz to the image. Shooting at a angle might be more interesting or perhaps a close up of just her face. |

well done...both technically and artistically...there is a sense of tension that I really like here... |
