 Taken in sandy soil at around 7pm. The carrot is actually only about 2 inches long. I threw dust over the carrot to make it look dryer.

nice enough shot, but nothing pj about it. sure, there are plenty of assignments that say 'go get a shot of a xxx', but the best images are the ones that make other photojournalist say, 'i wish i'd shot that'
