My model (aka - my 17 y/o niece) was being her usual goofy self and struck a silly pose for me. We have a ton of traditional poses but this one is 100% her. We had fun and laughed a lot while taking a few photos.

She lives in Florida, so I don't get to see her very often. She told me that she worked to save money for a tutu (kids!?!). So I told her to be sure and bring it for the pictures. The selective de-saturation was mainly to emphasize the tutu that she loved as it wasn't as noticeable in the b/w or color versions.

I know I am not going to "wow" the masses with this, but it was fun to do something different.

This made me smile. :) I like the cheesy pose and the partial desat. 8

Very nice but I think it would be better without the selective desat. Very nice overall shot though.7

I like your artistry here. The white wall is a little distracting but doesn't hurt it. (voted earlier)

This really works for me. While I am not a big fan of her pose, the starkness of all the B&W with the touch of blue really draws your eye in.

It's a cool photo, but it looks a bit overexposed. Her hair is blending in with the sky, details on the wall have disappeared etc. B/W with a detail in colour doesn't do it for me either. 3

I don't always like a single saturation of color but this really works. Nice tonal range. GOOD STUFF HERE!!
