 The image looks like the man is teaching the owl how to use it's claws. I just learned how to do curves and wanted to test it out. Much nicer results then the auto-correct

can hardly read the words. too bad since the bird and the guys hand is very effective for what you are trying to convay

The connection to the challenge is rather weak, I can barely make out the words. But it's a good image, strong impression on his face and hand, and a beautiful owl. 7

This is nice a shot but the connection to the challenge is rather tenuous. The words on the man's t-shirt really don't impact the photo at all. There is no surprise factor that makes the words stand out.
