It has been awhile since I seen this shot. I liked it then cause I gave you a 10. This is very nice.

(1) COMPOSITION (CONTENT) - At first appearance, seems very busy. My eye tends to wander around quite a bit. I seem to be looking for your subject. Itâs not until later that I realize the whole canvas is your subject, at least to me. I donât like the two horizontal lines across the picture, though they are mostly covered; a minor distraction.
(2) BACKGROUND â See comment above. Iâm not sure what is the background is, and what the main subject is. Itâs hard for me to call the leaves the background
(3) CAMERA WORK ,TECHNICAL â Very good for what you intended. Focus is dead on.
(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING ,TECHNICAL â At first glance, it appears you over saturated the blues. The material under the leaves is too blue for my tastes (I know the challenge is âblueâ). But you probably needed to do that to get the blue in the leaves.
(5) MY OPINION ON THE PHOTO â Overall, pretty good, an âartsyâ photo, tending to the abstract. I like it. I think it could have been a much better abstract if you had played with the focus some, shooting the leaves well out of focus. Then the over saturated blues would have worked better. It may not have scored better, as the majority of voters here donât appreciate abstract photos, but I think you may have been happier with it.

I think this photo scored way too low, probably because it does not have a central subject. Think about it this way - would this not make the coolest gift-wrapping paper?

fills the frame very nicely. the blue and the earthen tones are nice, but i would have played with the balance of those two in the shot a little. i think it could use a bit more blue. 7

Excellent. Needs more blue among the leaves.

Too much contrast between blue and neutral leaves.

I was really stuck between a 9 and a 10 on this one. I love the contrast. The only thing that kept me from giving it the 10 was that when I looked at it, it was just a little too busy on the eye. Great photo though.

Great shot, but not enough blue for it to be a focus. 7 Jak

Interesting patterns, only complaint I'd have would be these two horizontal bars I see that are apparently at the bottom of the pool...

This a photo that grows on you! Beautiful.

I don't believe I've ever seen blue leaves that blue, or are they supposed to be the bottome of the pool? I'll have to think about this one and get back. PTL

Great focus, very cool with sections of bright blue peeking through! I like it a lot, and I think it should do fairly well. Good luck with it!

Nice Job. Good effect. :-)

I'm not sure I like the contrasting colors in this one. The blue is too contrasting with the natural autumn colors. Perhaps if it was a more natural blue it would have been a bit better.
